Genuine Volkswagen Compact III towbar mounted bicycle carrier for 3 bikes/cycles
The Volkswagen Genuine Compact III bicycle carrier is the smallest, lightest and most compact in its class for the towing hitch. It transports up to three bicycles. Thanks to the folding system the tail lights, bicycle rails and support frame can be folded up completely and stowed in the luggage compartment, for instance.
Folding away onto the vehicle - even with bicycles - is particularly easy with the newly developed foot switch, so that the luggage compartment remains accessible. It locks automatically when the carrier is folded up. Width of wheel rails: 50mm.
Clamps frame section: 80mm x 45mm. Distance between rails: 18cm to 19cm. Do not use in conjunction with aluminium ball head towing hitch.
The rear hatch of the T5/T6 and Caddy cannot be opened when the carrier is fitted. Use only in conjunction with 50mm diameter ball head. Good condition and full working order. Supplied with carry case and keys.
