MaxxRaxx Explorer 5 Bike Cycle Carrier Rack Flange Ball Fitting

This is a Maxxraxx Explorer 5 bike carrier that allows towing and carrying bikes at the same time (subject to towbar noseweight limits and trailer clearance). Maximum load capacity of 80kg. It is suitable for some 4x4 vehicles with a rear door mounted spare wheel that sits partially over the rear bumper although it would also work on a vehicle without a spare wheel where more clearance from the back of the vehicle is required.

All MaxxRaxx Cycle carriers have a tilting facility, an inbuilt security cable, and a unique ratchet tie-down mechanism. Each bike sits in its own cradle on the support arm. (X Bar may be required on some bikes such as Y frame style) They come supplied with fixing bolts, locating pins and 2 padlocks for added security.
