Clean all vehicle surfaces that will contact the rack feet, straps or hooks. Adjust the rack legs and support arms to the position specified for your approved vehicle fit.
Position the articulated rubber feet correctly against the approved areas of the vehicle. Attach all vehicle straps and hooks exactly as directed by Saris. Tighten each strap evenly until the rack is stable and cannot shift on the vehicle.
Secure each bicycle using the appropriate hold-down and anti-sway straps. Ensure pedals, handlebars, wheels and frames cannot contact or damage the vehicle or another bicycle.
Secure all loose strap ends using the integrated strap management system. Perform a complete stability check before driving. Stop after a short initial journey and re-check the rack, vehicle attachment straps and bicycle restraints. Re-check all connections regularly during longer journeys.
