Saris Superbones 3 Bike car Boot/hatchback road or mountain bike Cycle Rack/carrier. Top of the range and not to be confused with the cheaper bones 3 unit. Allows you to quickly fit to your vehicle and safely carry 3 bikes, up to 35lbs each or 16kg. Maximum weight with 3 bikes is 105lbs or 48kg. Ratcheting straps quickly hold the unit to your vehicle, no pull tight metal (scratchy) strap clasps rubbing like the cheaper versions.

Only 2 sets of straps to attach unlike 3 sets on the cheaper models. Once fitted you can lock the car retention straps in position so it can't be removed from the vehicle and also has a plastic coated metal braided reinforced cable that can run through the last bike and lock to the rack so bikes can't easily be removed. Both keys in my possession. Convenient for no extra charges at ferry ports where increased height (roof carriers) are charged extra as tall vehicles like caravans.
