Not used for last 10 years, been stored in our garage. This is one of the last Swallow frames made with the solid silver Swallow emblem on the headstock. Some minor scratches and scuffs and a small dent on one of the back rack downtubes. The mudguards show slight discolouration on their ends. We have had some great times riding this tandem, but we are too old and unfit to use it properly any more.

We are down-sizing so sadly the tandem has to go, hopefully to someone who will get as much pleasure from riding it as we did. Fully equipped for touring with high spec components throughout. Frame 57cm (22.5) front, 55.5cm (22) rear from crank centre to top of tube. 700C 48 spoke wheels with Sun Rims and Panaracer Pasela 700 x 32C Kevlar tyres. Hope Hub + mechanical disc brake on rear with Shimano 6 position thumbshifter for stoker. Middleburn RS3 44 34 24 Chainring with self-extracting bolts. Sachs Powerglide 8 speed cassette ratios 11-28. Shimano reversible pedals SPD one side, flat the other. USE suspension seat post on rear with Brooks Countess All-Terrain sprung leather saddle.

Brooks Professional leather saddle on front. Acor adjustable height/reach handlebar stem on front. Schmidt K179 Hub Dynamo + B&M Lumotec Oval Plus on front and Seculite Plus on rear.

Campagnolo Mirage rear mech, control levers and brakes. Shimano Deore XT front mech. Shimano XT cantilever brakes front and rear.

2 Trek Sensor cycle computers with new batteries. Karrimor Karousel Bardale touring barbag with map pocket, shoulder strap and Klick-Fix quickly detachable fixing.

Tools and new spares included. Hope disc peg spanner (needed to remove disc to replace nearside spokes). 2 off new Middleburn 40T chainrings for the timing chain. Shimano Cartridge Brake Shoe Block Set Part no 83X 9802. 2 sets of Hope disc pads. Park Tools 36 x 15mm spanner for headstock nut.

A homemade extractor which I think was for the cassette? Used original Hope front wheel hub. All instruction leaflets, manuals and paperwork. Collection from 10 miles south of Bristol. You just need a car with roof bars.
