The 598's lightweight aluminium structure is easy to lift onto the roof and the safe mounting extandable lower jaw ensures your bike will not fall during the assembly process, moreover, it automatically positions your bicycle due to the cutting-edge wheel tray and frame holder. The large soft claw pads are a brand new feature of the new 598, they help ensure your bike is maintained in a stable position without damaging the frame work. In addition, the innovative wheel holders and diagonal straps fasten your bicycle tightly on the carrier. No tools are required when fitting the ProRide and you can easily switch it from one side of your car to the other, T-track adapters are included with the 598 so you can mount the carrier onto your Thule WingBar Edge, WingBar, SlideBar and AeroBar. Quick and easy bike securing - the torque limiter dial controls the force going into the bike frame with a clear sign of correct mounting.
Pressure is spread via large, soft claw pads that adapt to your bike's frame tubes - minimizing the risk of frame damage. Safe mounting - your bike is prevented from falling thanks to the claw's extended lower jaw. Stable wheels - firmly fixed in smartly designed wheel holders with diagonal quick-release wheel straps.
