The locking thumb screws clamps are upgraded with a torque thumb screws as to not over tighten, it can take E-bikes (making sure you keep under the weight limits) and has the new upgraded ratchet pump action wheel straps. It also comes with all the tools to fit to the T6 and the protective tape and fits to the tailgate exactly the same as the original VW rack.The Thule WanderWay 2 is a top of the line tailgate bike rack for the VW T6. It is designed to transport 2 bikes, with the WanderWay 3rd/4rd adapter the loading capacity can be increased to up to 4 bikes.
Thanks to the raised position of the rack, the view of the rear lights is maintained for following traffic. This Rack unfolded extends the van by circa 82cm when unfolded and 40cm when folded up.
