The tilting facility allows access to the boot of the car without the inconvenience of having to removing any bikes each time you wish to do so. When fitted the bike carrier will obscure the lights and number plate on most cars, so Mottez have fitted the carrier with an integrated light board with electrics and number plate holder that accepts standard UK oblong number plates. The bike carrier can also be secured to the towbar by means of an additional padlock, which disables the use of the clamp handle. Tilts for boot access -Yes.
